The show is Hadleigh Farmers Agricultural Association's annual highlight and main fundraising event, and the organisation continually strives to keep it fresh and at the forefront of events in Hadleigh.
As one of the last 'traditional' agricultural shows in the country, it attracts entries and visitors from across the region, with the aim of promoting agriculture and country life. Tradestands vary from farm machinery and fertilizers to commercial enterprises selling country clothing, garden plants and furniture, cars and country crafts.
A variety of livestock and equestrian competition classes, along with clay pigeon shooting and the gun dog scurry can be found, along side an excellent food hall, art exhibition and sale, schools tent, rural crafts and flower show.
There's no shortage of places to eat and drink - and plenty of stands, activities and ring events to entertain children as well as adults.
As ever, the show director and committee are indebted to the huge number of people who give up their time to help set up and run the show, as well as the many generous sponsors of the various classes and displays.
HFAA look foward to welcoming you to the 173rd Hadleigh Show on Saturday 19th May 2012!
